At the AUSA First Region Leaders Conference April 21-23  I was fortunate to represent you, as president.  In the photo with me on behalf of our Greater NY Statue of Liberty Chapter is GNY Chapter was one of our chapter Executive Committee members and U.S. Army Reserve Ambassador for the State of New York, the Hon. Gary Port.  Key to the event –  the President of the West Point AUSA Chapter, John L. Bucheit was the host for the first AUSA First Region Leaders Conference held at West Point.  Centered in the photo is a good friend to West Point and AUSA supporter NY State Senator Mike Martucci who formally welcomed us to Orange County.

Thank you to our FIRST Region President Sue DiVila and her team for such a well organized conference.  John Burkheit ensured that the event ran perfectly and in such impressive surroundings.   We were so fortunate.

We were very proud to be present and recognize with award and scholarship from AUSA , the exceptional cadet in our Region, to Cadet (LTC) Hertoff Moneus.  More to come.
